Creative or technical? Most Web specialists fall into one category or the other. With a unique ability to marry his creativity with his technical development skills, Darrell brings to life beautiful and functional Web sites that are both search engine and user-friendly.
Detail-oriented and not afraid to try something new, Darrell brings a fresh perspective to his work and his clients benefit from his insight and natural talent. His broad base of knowledge, coding expertise and creativity are reflected in his approach to Web site design and development.
Darrell’s interest in art began in childhood and followed him into high school, where he took classes at the Cincinnati Art Academy, and worked in several different mediums such as figure drawing, photography, print making and photo manipulation. Moving into college and eventually graduate school, Darrell became more focused on electronic art, graphic design, computer animation, photography. His extensive art background is still evident in the outstanding sites he builds for his clients today.
Darrell Williams holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Bowling Green State University and went on to earn his master’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP program. He is proficient in PHP and XHTML coding and, prior to forming Cow Dog Design, worked at Atomic Computers and Design, Justice & Young, Parody Productions and Urban Wilderness Design, where he designed and developed Web sites for clients ranging from ski resorts to pottery shops.
In his free time, Darrell enjoys cycling and participating in charity cycling rides. He also serves as the Moeller High School Inline Hockey Head Coach.
